download small flyerThe Bra Project: No 2 are Alike features women’s bras transformed into art pieces and statements about breasts and bras. The exhibit is the work of 30 women artists from the area who have chosen to explore their sometimes complex relationships with their own breasts and the bras that confine them or the bras they’ve thrown off.

“It is dedicated to breast cancer awareness for all those who fought the fight and won and those who did not,” according to one of the group’s organizers, Marcia Shubert, who reminds us October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Come to meet the artists and see the work! Opening night will have a memorial table with luminaries for anyone wanting to honor a loved one who has died from cancer. Milena Miller and Friends will be there to entertain. Proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.
