Join us for a lively discussion among local and nationally recognized artists who will share their experiences as women in contemporary arts today. This interactive discussion promises to offer a provocative look into gender issues in the arts.

Hosted by Dean MaryAnn Janosik of Ohio University-Lancaster. Janosik is the author of The Video Generation, 1981-1990 and Volume 5 of the Greenwood Encyclopedia of Rock History.

Panelists include:
Sara Sant’Ambrogio, cellist, founding member of the Eroica Trio. A Grammy Award winner, Ms. Sant’Ambrogio has appeared as soloist throughout the world at major music centers and festivals. She studied at the Curtis Institute of Music and The Juilliard School.

Madeleine Scott, professor and director of the School of Dance, Ohio University, holds degrees from Loyola Marymount University and UCLA, special interest is movement pattern analysis, has been a guest artist at universities throughout the U.S.
