Nawal El Saadawi (http://www.nawalsaadawi.net/) will present and lead an open discussion. Nawal is an Egyptian feminist, a medical doctor, a psychologist, a human rights activist, and a novelist. She was a featured artist at this year’s OU Spring Literary Festival. Her recent books include the novel THE FALL OF THE IMAM and the essay collection THE NAWAL EL-SAADAWI READER. A book signing will immediately follow.
