Dr. Elizabeth Borgwardt (http://www.oah.org/activities/lectureship/2006/lecturer.php?id=60) will be presenting the last lecture in the Contemporary History Institute’s (http://www.ohiou.edu/conhist/) Winter Quarter lecture series.

Dr. Borgwardt is an associate professor of history at Washington University in St. Louis, currently serving as a visiting scholar at the Warren Center for Studies in American History at Harvard University, and is an Organization of American Historians Distinguished Lecturer. She is the author of the multiple-award-winning book, A NEW DEAL FOR THE WORLD: AMERICA’S VISION FOR HUMAN RIGHTS (http://www.hup.harvard.edu/catalog/BORNEW.html).
