March is “Women’s History Month.” In observance, Ohio University Lancaster, in collaboration with local business women, organizations, and community members, is sponsoring the first annual Celebrate Women conference in Lancaster.

You are cordially invited to attend! Through education, enlightenment, and inspiration, the purpose of Celebrate Women is to encourage and enhance gender equity by honoring the past, present, and potential accomplishments of women from diverse ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds. The theme of this year’s conference, “Women Taking the Lead,” encompasses many different aspects of “leading” from a variety of perspectives (world of work, civic opportunities, and personal life choices).

The conference agenda includes a luncheon & snacks, a full day of speakers and panel presentations on a variety of women’s issues, and a Woman’s Art Show Reception.

The Women’s Financial Network of Fairfield National Bank and Ohio University Lancaster are cosponsoring the keynote address, “Leading in Times of Uncertainty,” by Carol Ritz, CSP. Carol Ritz founded The Ritz Speaking and Seminars in 1988. She has spoken throughout the United States, Australia, New Zealand, England, and Scotland.

Bring a friend, sponsor an employee or a student, and join us as we Celebrate Women 2007.
