The Honors Tutorial College (http://www.honors.ohio.edu/ ) and the School of Communication Studies (http://www.coms.ohiou.edu/) are pleased to present a public lecture by Dr. Daniel Brouwer (http://www.asu.edu/clas/communication/people/faculty/brouwer/), Associate Professor, School of Human Communication, Arizona State University.

Dr. Brouwer will examine two key controversies about the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt (http://www.aidsquilt.org/) that span the years 2001-2006.

Dr. Brouwer is a 1992 OU graduate of the Honors Tutorial College Program of Study in Communication Studies. He received his Ph.D. from Northwestern University under the direction of G. Thomas Goodnight. (http://www.honors.ohio.edu/aidsquilt.htm)
