Michelle Greenfield will present a talk highlighting renewable energy options for home, farm and business. Her talk will cover the basic questions to ask when considering a solar or wind system, an overview of how these systems work, how much energy can be produced, and costs of the systems including available grants and tax credits. She will show example systems from around the state of Ohio, talk about the benefits of renewable energy, and answer questions from the audience.

Michelle is co-owner of Third Sun Solar and Wind Power (http://www.third-sun.com/), a full service renewable energy contractor based in Athens, Ohio. She has lived off the grid with her family in a solar and wind powered house for over 9 years.

Directions to the Innovation Center: Take West State Street, pass Miller’s Chicken, go 2/10 mile, turn right into the University Research and Enterprise Park. The Innovation Center is the first building on the right. Visitor parking is on your right near the entrance to the Park. Enter the front door (glass atrium) and turn left to the large conference room.
