Christine Fahl earned her doctorate from the Department of Natural Resource Conservation and her master’s degree in regional planning from the Department of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning at the University of Massachusetts. She has worked with local towns and groups in western Massachusetts in developing open space, recreation and conservation plans. She has developed by-laws and regulations for resource protection and developed land management plans for resource lands. She has taught courses in environmental planning, landscape ecology and natural resources and society. She is currently teaching courses in ecotourism for the School of Human and Consumer Sciences at Ohio University.
