Community Black History Month Celebration

The community Black History Month celebration event will include song, dance, poems, dramatic interpretations and reflections. Those giving presentations include local historian Beverly Gray (http://www.lwfaah.net/oh/gray.htm), Chillicothe First Baptist Church Pastor Jonathan McReynolds, and child advocate Randall Beverly.
“This promises to be a night to remember as we celebrate Black History Month in a manner that promises to be inspiring and entertaining,” event coordinator and African Studies adjunct faculty member Rene King said. “This is an opportunity for individuals throughout Ross County to come together for this memorable occasion.”
