Rashid Darden (http://rashid.oldgoldsoul.com/) is a refreshing new voice in African-American and Gay literature. His writing is influenced by years of eclectic experiences, from studying in Moscow and London to competing in poetry slams in his native Washington, DC. A graduate of Georgetown University who is enjoying the challenges and rewards of independant publishing, Rashid’s novels are LAZARUS (2005) and COVENANT (2006).
